United Kingdom - Removed the End Date of CE Recognition
The government continue to recognize current EU requirements for a range of product regulations, including the CE marking. This means businesses will be able to use either the UKCA or CE marking to sell a variety of products in Great Britain.

This Statutory Instrument revokes the previously set expiry date of 31 December 2024 for the recognition of certain EU requirements for goods, allowing continued recognition of EU conformity assessment procedures for products placed on the market in Great Britain. This change provides businesses with the flexibility to use either the CE marking or the UKCA marking.
The SI introduces a new measure allowing manufacturers to use the UKCA marking to place products in the GB market. Manufacturers must meet EU essential requirements, conduct EU conformity assessment procedures, and create technical documentation(include but no limit to CCS NPD assessment report, benchmark,product 3rd party valid test reports and certifications) .
